WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU WORK WITH US

Meet the Owner
Richard Murguia is a proud Southern Californian with lifelong roots in San Diego. From a young age, he enjoyed building, repairing, and helping neighbors with home projects—discovering early on that he had a natural ability for hands-on problem-solving. That passion, paired with a desire to create safer and more reliable living spaces, eventually led him into the electrical trade.

With more than a decade of field experience—specializing in panel upgrades, troubleshooting, remodel wiring, and EV charger installations—Richard earned his California C-10 Electrical Contractor License (LIC. #1138939) and founded PowerWISE Electric-SD. His goal was simple:

To deliver the kind of honest, dependable, high-quality electrical service he felt San Diego families and businesses deserved.
Richard believes that great electrical work begins with great communication. He takes time to listen, explain solutions clearly, and ensure every customer feels confident and informed. Whether he’s fixing a faulty outlet or wiring a full remodel, he approaches each project with precision, pride, and the same care he would bring to his own home.
When he’s not on a job site, Richard enjoys riding his Harley along the coast, spending quality time with his Frenchie, Kaya, supporting local businesses, and exploring new corners of the San Diego community he’s proud to call home.
